Product Overview & Technology

Farmonaut uses satellite data to identify high-potential mineral zones before ground exploration begins. Our technology helps mining companies find the best drilling targets faster, at lower cost, and with reduced risk.

Farmonaut can detect a wide range of minerals –
  1. Multispectral (Broad-band minerals):
Gold (Au), Silver (Ag), Copper (Cu), Cobalt (Co), Lithium (Li), Nickel (Ni), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Diamond (Di), Uranium (U), Star Garnet, Quartz (SiO₂), Zinc (Zn), Gypsum, Beryllium (Be), Dolomite, Tantalum (Ta), Niobium (Nb), and many more.
  2. Hyperspectral (Narrow-band minerals):
Epidote, Rhodium (Rh), Palladium (Pd), Lithium-bearing minerals, Rare Earth Elements (REEs), Lanthanum (La), Cerium (Ce), Neodymium (Nd), Promethium (Pm), Samarium (Sm), Europium (Eu), Gadolinium (Gd), Terbium (Tb), Dysprosium (Dy), Holmium (Ho), Erbium (Er), Thulium (Tm), Ytterbium (Yb), Lutetium (Lu), Scandium (Sc), Yttrium (Y), Praseodymium (Pr), and many more.

Our technology analyzes satellite images and geological patterns to highlight the most promising mineral zones. Based on our historical project outcomes, Farmonaut has consistently delivered over 95% accuracy in mineral target identification.

Farmonaut integrates multiple satellite and geospatial data sources, including:

  • Sentinel-2 imagery (10 m resolution)

  • Landsat 8 OLI imagery

  • SRTM Digital Elevation Models (30–90 m resolution)

  • ASTER

  • PRISMA

  • Maxar high-resolution imagery

  • WorldView satellites

By combining these datasets, Farmonaut enables accurate mineralogical analysis, structural mapping, and terrain interpretation across large geographic regions.

The choice of data source always depends on the specific challenge being addressed, ensuring the most suitable resolution, spectral capability, and coverage are used for each project.

Farmonaut can analyze areas ranging from a few hectares to entire countries.

Note: Pricing increases with the size of the area. For very large regions such as country-level analysis, the cost can be significantly higher. We recommend to start with smaller areas

Farmonaut integrates:

  • Spectral mineral detection
  • Structural geology analysis
  • Terrain & slope filtering
  • Multi-index scoring
  • Temporal stability analysis

This ensures only the most statistically reliable targets are recommended for drilling, drastically improving exploration success probability.

Yes, Using spectral anomaly detection, vegetation masking, and multi-season analysis, Farmonaut identifies hidden mineralization even under soil and vegetation cover.

No — satellites cannot literally see through the ground. However, Farmonaut uses advanced satellite imagery and geological analysis to detect surface patterns, mineral signatures, and structural indicators that strongly suggest subsurface mineralization.

We can predict where gold or other minerals are most likely to exist underground, helping reduce guesswork and unnecessary drilling.

Mining Pro is Farmonaut’s advanced 3D visualization and analysis tool designed for mineral exploration. It converts geological and satellite data into interactive 3D models, helping teams identify deposit targets, analyze vein networks, and plan drilling with higher accuracy and confidence.

Simply upload your data file, .json or .geojson (provided in Premium Plus report) containing anomaly or feature data, and Mining Pro will generate interactive 3D visualizations for analysis.

Reports & Pricing

Farmonaut provides 2 types of Reports for mineral detection:

1) The Premium report provides:

  • Mineral-focused spectral anomaly detection using multi-satellite data.
  • Heatmaps identifying potential mineral-rich zones across the target area.
  • Baseline analysis report with high-resolution visual maps.
  • Advanced anomaly characterization using multi-season satellite composites.
  • Geological structure mapping, including fault lines, alteration zones, and host rock patterns.
  • Priority ranking of target zones with estimated confidence levels.
  • Total estimated quantity of mineral present in the location.
  • Estimated mineral depth and commercial viability conclusion.

2) Premium+ Report

  • Includes everything in the Premium Report, plus:
  • Drilling Angle Intelligence for optimized drilling.
  • 3D subsurface & terrain mapping.
  • Detailed mineral distribution maps.

Reports are delivered within 5-7 business days (based on AOI) after payment confirmation.

Farmonaut’s pricing is project-based and customized, depending on the below factors:

  • Total area size
  • Target mineral(s)
  • Type of report selected (Premium or Premium+)

Premium+ pricing is higher than Premium, as it includes advanced drilling intelligence, 3D subsurface modeling, and deeper geological interpretation.

You can:

Scope

No. Farmonaut optimizes and guides physical exploration, but does not replace it.

We identify high-probability drilling targets, which leads to:

  • Fewer boreholes
  • More targeted drilling
  • Lower field exploration costs

Think of Farmonaut as precision targeting before expensive drilling begins.

No, Farmonaut does not provide drilling, mining, investment, or fundraising services.

We strictly specialize in satellite-based mineral exploration and intelligence, delivering high-accuracy targeting, geological insights, and decision-support data to help clients plan their own exploration and drilling programs more effectively.

Getting Started & Onboarding

Getting started is simple. You can either:

To begin the analysis, we require:

  1. Total Area Size – Approximate area in square kilometers or hectares
  2. Target Mineral(s) – Example: Gold, Lithium, Copper, Chrome, Rare Earths, etc.
  3. Target Area Location – GPS coordinates, KML file, GeoJson, shapefile, or a marked boundary on a map
