Farmonaut Mining Pro — Overview & Services ⬡ Mining Pro
Farmonaut Mining Pro is a satellite-based geological and mineral exploration analytics solution designed to support mineral prospecting, geological mapping, and pre-exploration desktop studies. Mining Pro applies multispectral and hyperspectral remote sensing algorithms — including spectral band combinations, lithological classification models, and mineral alteration indices — to publicly and commercially available satellite imagery to identify surface spectral anomalies associated with geological mineralization targets.
10.1 Core Capabilities
- Mineral Alteration Zone Mapping — Detection of hydrothermal alteration zones, argillic and propylitic alteration patterns, and related mineralogical signatures associated with ore deposits, using SWIR and VNIR band combinations from Landsat-8/9, Sentinel-2, ASTER, and other sensors.
- Lithological Classification — AI-driven classification of exposed surface rock types and geological formations based on spectral signatures, supporting geological mapping of large and remote areas without the cost of fieldwork.
- Mineral-Specific Spectral Indices — Generation of Clay Mineral Ratio (CMR), Ferrous Minerals Index (FMI), Iron Oxide Ratio (IOR), Carbonate Index, Silica Index, and Alunite/Kaolinite/Muscovite discrimination indices.
- Structural Geology & Lineament Analysis — Identification of lineaments, fault traces, fold axes, and other structural geological features from satellite imagery that may indicate ore-controlling structures.
- Multi-Sensor Data Fusion — Integration of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data with optical multispectral data for enhanced geological mapping in cloud-prone, forested, or vegetated terrains.
- Change Detection — Temporal change analysis of geological surfaces to monitor excavation activity, tailings expansion, and surface disturbance at active mining sites.
- Prospecting Reports — Downloadable reports summarizing satellite-derived mineral indicators, spectral maps, structural lineaments, and geological context for a defined Area of Interest (AOI).
10.2 Target Users
Farmonaut Mining Pro is designed for geologists, mineral exploration companies, junior mining companies, government geological surveys, academic earth science researchers, and investment analysts conducting desktop mineral prospectivity studies. It is not intended as a substitute for detailed, field-verified geological surveys or resource estimation work.
Mineral Detection Data — Nature, Limitations & Prohibited Reliance ⬡ Mining Pro
11.1 Nature of Mineral Detection Data
All Mineral Detection Data generated by Farmonaut Mining Pro — including spectral indices, lithological maps, alteration zone maps, lineament maps, and Prospecting Reports — are derived from satellite remote sensing of Earth's surface. These outputs represent spectral anomalies and surface mineralogical signatures detectable from orbit. They do not constitute direct measurements of subsurface mineralogy, ore grade, ore reserve estimates, or resource tonnage.
11.2 Technical Limitations
- Vegetation Cover — Dense or moderate vegetation substantially attenuates or entirely masks surface mineralogical signatures. Results in vegetated terrains must be interpreted with extreme caution.
- Soil Cover & Regolith — Thick regolith, laterite, or soil cover may conceal underlying bedrock mineralogy. Results are most reliable in arid, semi-arid, and sparsely vegetated terrain with good outcrop exposure.
- Atmospheric Effects — Despite atmospheric correction processing, residual water vapor, aerosols, and haze can introduce spectral artifacts that mimic mineral signatures.
- Spatial Resolution — Available satellite sensors have spatial resolutions ranging from approximately 10 m (Sentinel-2) to 30–90 m (Landsat, ASTER). Sub-resolution geological features will not be detected.
- Spectral Confusion — Certain clay minerals, carbonates, and sulfates exhibit similar spectral signatures, potentially leading to misclassification without corroborating hyperspectral or field data.
- Depth of Detection — Satellite remote sensing detects surface and near-surface mineralogy only. Deeply buried ore bodies are not detectable by these methods.
- Sensor Availability — Results depend on the availability of suitable cloud-free imagery over the AOI. In persistently cloudy regions, optical imagery may not be available.
11.3 Mandatory Field Verification
Farmonaut strongly recommends — and in many professional and regulatory contexts it is legally required — that all satellite-derived mineral anomalies identified through Mining Pro be verified through field geological mapping, rock sampling, geochemical analysis, and geophysical surveys before any investment decision, resource estimation, or regulatory application is made. Satellite-based prospecting is a desktop reconnaissance tool and must form part of a systematic exploration workflow, not a standalone decision-making system.
11.4 No Resource or Reserve Certification
Farmonaut Mining Pro does not produce, and expressly disclaims any representation regarding, Mineral Resource or Mineral Reserve estimates as defined under JORC (2012), NI 43-101, SAMREC, PERC, or any other internationally recognized resource reporting code. Users must not represent Mining Pro outputs as constituting a resource or reserve estimate in any public disclosure, investor presentation, regulatory filing, or securities document.
Mining Licensing, Regulatory Compliance & User Responsibilities ⬡ Mining Pro
12.1 User Responsibility for Regulatory Compliance
Access to Farmonaut Mining Pro confers no mining license, exploration permit, tenement, or right of entry over any land or geological area. You are solely responsible for obtaining all applicable licenses, permits, approvals, and authorizations required under the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction(s) in which you conduct mineral exploration or mining activities, including:
- Mineral exploration licenses and prospecting permits
- Environmental impact assessment approvals and environmental clearances
- Land access and surface rights agreements with landowners
- Foreign investment approvals where applicable
- Export control and sanctions compliance for satellite data use in restricted territories
- Any reporting obligations to stock exchanges or securities regulators
12.2 Restricted Territories & Export Controls
Farmonaut Mining Pro must not be used to conduct mineral prospecting or geological analysis in territories or for entities subject to international sanctions, export control restrictions, or where satellite data use is restricted by the relevant satellite operator's licensing terms. Users are solely responsible for compliance with applicable sanctions and export control law.
12.3 Indigenous & Traditional Land Rights
Users acknowledge that mineral exploration in many jurisdictions requires consultation with, and in some cases free, prior, and informed consent (FPIC) from, indigenous peoples and local communities. Farmonaut Mining Pro data does not supersede any legal obligations to consult with affected communities. Farmonaut accepts no liability for any breach of indigenous land rights arising from a user's reliance on Mining Pro data.
12.4 Environmental Obligations
Use of Mining Pro data to plan exploration activities carries no environmental authorization from Farmonaut. Users must independently assess and comply with all applicable environmental laws, including obligations to conduct environmental impact assessments, obtain environmental clearances, and remediate exploration-related land disturbance.
12.5 Public Disclosure Restriction — Securities Law
Mining Pro Data Accuracy & Disclaimer ⬡ Mining Pro
All Mineral Detection Data, spectral indices, lithological classifications, alteration maps, structural maps, and Prospecting Reports are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific geological or commercial purpose.
13.1 No Guarantee of Mineral Presence
Detection of spectral anomalies consistent with mineral alteration or specific lithologies does not guarantee the presence of economically significant mineralization. Spectral anomalies may arise from non-economic mineralogical assemblages, geochemical dispersion halos, sedimentary formations with similar spectral responses, or processing artifacts.
13.2 No Guarantee of Mineral Absence
The absence of detectable spectral anomalies in a Mining Pro result does not guarantee the absence of mineralization. Economic ore deposits may be undetectable from satellite observation due to vegetation cover, deep burial, small surface expression, or sensor resolution constraints.
13.3 Model Accuracy Variance
Mineral detection algorithm accuracy varies across geological terrains, climate zones, rock types, and satellite sensor types. No universal accuracy figure is applicable to all AOIs. Users should treat Mining Pro outputs as indicative, reconnaissance-level data only.
